The original Bedford horsebox has been converted into a unique space with your comfort in mind. Much of the wood used is from recycled materials, old pallets and a local fallen beech tree. In Coombe Cottage you'll find electric lighting, sockets, charging points, king size bed, double sofa bed, wood-burning stove, cooking facilities, fridge - everything you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The vintage horsebox with panoramic views over the South Downs and surrounding area. The horsebox is in a truly magical position. You'll wake up to the sounds of wildlife and bird song and find views over the national park.

Pepperscombe Farm is on the outskirts of picturesque Steyning town. There's direct access from the farm to the South Downs National Park with local footpaths and trails for mountain biking. Easy walking distance to local shops, pubs and restaurants and a 20 minute drive to the local beaches. We look forward to welcoming you to this magical space and retreat.

There's a new games room onsite. and we will be starting forge experiences from Summer 2020 - Lee Portwain has been an artist blacksmith for 24 years and will share his wisdom and skills with you.

Meet the chickens
Feed our rescue chickens Flighty, Bertha and Bare Butt some corn and they may repay you with a few delicious eggs.
