Woodland Champions Club - Objectives

Our goals are to:

Identify and create woodland campsites for members to enjoy and engage in outdoor recreational activities.
Obtain and make available useful information on woodland glampsites.
Facilitate and encourage glampsite owners to plant native woodlands.
Promote camping in alternative caravans and low-impact accommodation.
Encourage outdoor leisure activities that connect people with nature.
Preserve the natural beauty of the landscape and ensure exempted sites do not harm its amenity value.
Conserve and enhance biodiversity across all woodland areas.
Help protect native broadleaf woodlands for future generations.
Reconnect people with the natural world.
Provide safe, natural spaces for a range of therapeutic and wellbeing practices.
