Llanthony Castaway

“Escape from it all at our boutique bolthole, tucked away in an almost totally off-grid corner of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Check into one of our unique glamping spaces and you’ll be immersed in landscape of green valleys, mighty mountains and even bigger skies. Whether you’re on the hunt for outdoor adventures, stellar stargazing or just a chance to unplug and unwind, Castaway is the perfect location to lose yourself.”

The Railway Carriage:
Comfortably wild, beautifully restored. The Original Castaway Cabin offers a peaceful hideaway made from two lovingly restored railway wagons. Inside, you’ll find a soft king-sized bed, en-suite bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen for simple, comfortable living. A wood-burning stove keeps things cosy year-round, while the firepit outside invites quiet evenings and slow mornings. With views across the valley to Llanthony Priory, it’s a space to reconnect - with nature, with yourself, or with each other.

The Dome:
Modern comfort, rooted in nature. Adrift at the Dome is your off-grid escape for two. A solar-powered space with a king-sized bed, hot shower and a proper kitchen, it offers ease without excess. The wood-burning stove keeps you toasty year-round, while the firepit draws you outside to breathe in the mountain air. Through the dome’s giant window, you’ll see the Llanthony landscape stretch wide by day - and by night, a blanket of stars under the Bannau Brycheiniog Dark Skies.
