A short drive to Llys-y-fran Reservoir offers another open water swimming venue in the warmer months, and if Mountain Biking is your thing a circular route around the water gives you the option of easy, medium or hard trails.
The Gower Peninsular and the Bannau Brycheniog National Park are also easily with day-trip range. Those that come to Pembrokeshire for the road cycling won’t be disappointed; the stunning IronMan Wales Bike Route passes close by and a number of Cycling Network Routes can take you all over the region for a day on two wheels to remember.
