Bryn a Môr Glamping

Skylarks singing, the sound of the waves, the smell of salty air. The feeling of wide skies merging with the ocean on the horizon.

Bryn a Môr is perched on the edge of the South Carmarthenshire coast, in a unique location, surrounded by nature.

The glamping site is accessed via a long track skirting a wooded valley, with the accommodation a little walk from the car park. Wheelbarrows are available to transport your belongings to your 'home from home', during your stay.

The Coast Path is directly on our boundary, with ancient burial cairns and hilltop forts within a 30 minute walk. You can access 3 beaches on foot within 40 minutes walk, with many more within an hour’s drive by car.

The tent pitches in set in a lovely woodland underneath the green canopy set away from the shepherd’s huts. There is an outdoor kitchen and washing up area for you to use, as well as an LPG powered reliable shower, and a well maintained compost toilet. There is a firebowl provided for you to use too!

The two shepherd’s huts each have their distinctive decor, and spaces include a good sized bedroom with storage, a fully equipped kitchenette with fridge freezer and breakfast bar, gas hob and oven, a small gas powered shower, and a clean private compost loo. They both have woodburners for chilly nights.

There are lights and charging points, an outdoor seating area, a fire pit, and privacy screens.

We live off grid with only solar power which limits how much electricity can be used, so please check before you bring a hairdryer! But if it’s a retreat from it all is what you seek, our farm is ideal. The local shops in Pendine are a 10 minute drive, though you may prefer to bring a supply of food and just leave the world behind.

The market garden produces eggs and vegetables seasonally, which you can buy on request. The farm also produces willow for basketry, workshops available on enquiry. The resident horses are lovely to observe, and help manage the land which is in part a Site of Special Scientific interest. Botanists and birdspotters won’t be disappointed, in fact wildlife enthusiasts of all kinds will find much pleasure in exploring this wild coast.

On days where you wish to explore further afield, in less than an hour’s drive you find so many places of interest. These include Carew Castle, Pembroke Castle, the Preseli mountains, St David’s - Britains smallest city, as well as Tenby and Narberth, both fabulous town’s with great restaurants and artisan shops. You can also visit Manor Wildlife Park, the National Botanic Gardens, Colby Woodland Gardens and so many more.
