Beckley is a quiet and beautiful village set in the Oxfordshire countryside, overlooking Otmoor - which also offers many different Natural trails for walkers and the RSPB Otmoor reserve just 5 minutes from this site.

Beckley has a very highly rated, community owned pub/restaurant called 'The Abingdon Arms', which gardens also overlook Otmoor.

Just down the road there are other highly rates pubs along the popular walking and cycle tracks, such as 'Talk House'.

Within 10 minutes of this site there are many other villages and towns offering a spoilt choice of great places to walk, visit and eat / drink.

Beckley is an attractive little village which overlooks Otmoor, which lies to the north of the village. Beckley is one of the ancient Seven Towns Of Otmoor, the other "towns" being Oddington, Charlton-on-Otmoor, Horton-cum-Studley, Noke, Murcott and Fencott. Before Enclosure in the early 1800s any cottager who lived in one of the ‘Seven Towns’ had right of grazing for their cattle, sheep and geese on the moor.
