Information:
Carreg Gamu's central location within the West Wales peninsular gives access to the entire coast within about and hour or less. This ensures visitors can easily access all the attractions that the area has to offer, and sample the wide diversity of outdoor environments and activities associated with the area. Examples: Tenby is 40 minutes away on the south coast, Aberporth 35 minutes on the North. Between the two, guests have access to some of the best beaches and sea swimming venues in West Wales. The Preseli National Park is on the doorstep, and access to the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is easily achieved at multiple locations within half an hour. A short drive to Llys-y-fran Reservoir offers another open water swimming venue in the warmer months, and if Mountain Biking is your thing a circular route around the water gives you the option of easy, medium or hard trails. The Gower Peninsular and the Bannau Brycheniog National Park are also easily with day-trip range. Those that come to Pembrokeshire for the road cycling won’t be disappointed; the stunning IronMan Wales Bike Route passes close by and a number of Cycling Network Routes can take you all over the region for a day on two wheels to remember. This gives a flavour of what could be accessed by adventurous, outdoor orientated guests staying at Carreg Gamu.
