Stay in a bell tent at Eagle Ridge Glamping, where you can see horses, sheep, both roe and red deer. The site has a footpath to a medieval tower, there’s a Microbrewery, farm shops and café nearby. The area is rich with National Trust properties, pick your own sites, farm trails, sunflower and dinosaur trails with play areas and even a maize maze.

Crowborough in the Weald at the edge of Ashdown Forest is about 7 miles south-west of Royal Tunbridge Wells and 33 miles south of London.
Eridge Green is a 21-acre biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north-east of Crowborough in East Sussex. It is part of the Eridge Rocks nature reserve, which is managed by Sussex Wildlife Trust.
This is ancient woodland on clay with outcrops of sandstone which form cliffs up to ten metres high. Flora on the rocks include Tunbridge filmy fern, the mosses Dicranum scottianum and Orthodontium gracile and the liverworts Scapania umbrosa, Scapania gracilis and Harpanthus scutatus
